A joyous and thankful crowd of donors and sponsors gathered on Sunday evening, November 13, to support the vision and mission for Colors of Hunger feeding program. After an enthusiastic and emotional welcome from President John Buchanan, the attendees dined, socialized and danced for our wonderful cause. Beautiful centerpieces--made from actual institutional cans used in the program--celebrated the hard work our volunteers do for this important program.
Live entertainment from the Soul Fire Band and a special solo from John Buchanan's son highlighted the evening. A silent auction furthered the FUNraising and excitement for the evening.
Special thanks to the members, leadership and staff of the Halifax River Yacht Club for making this evening extra special.
